Our Events Director Hannah May enjoyed a fantastic evening at the CIA Awards Dinner in Leeds last week. Hannah was delighted to meet so many young chemists and felt truly invigorated and inspired by their enthusiasm for their work. She said that she wanted to give them all a prize!
The event is an inspiring celebration of the achievements of one of the UK’s most dynamic and significant business sectors
Each year an industry employee in the early stages of their career is crowned ‘Young Ambassador’. The Young Ambassador Award recognises an outstanding young individual, who is demonstrating communication skills and leadership associated with the chemical and pharmaceutical industry and contributing to its success. Young Ambassadors are responsible for leading ChemTalent for their ‘year in office’.
Scientific Update Ltd are proud sponsors of this award, as we recognise the importance of developing our next generation of young chemists.
The 2022 applications were again from a very strong group of talented young people with inspiring stories and commitments to the chemical industry. It was so hard to choose a winner.
