The webinar provides an introduction to patents and include a discussion of the basic requirements of patents, the pros and cons of patents, what patent attorneys need from inventors to be able to put together a patent application, and a timeline of the patent process. It has general applicability but include examples relevant to process chemists.

This webinar was presented by Patent Attorneys Sam Busher and Alison Daniels, Elkington + Fife.

It was good. Never visited a Scientific Update conference, but will get it on my priority list. Very good – like the set-up, flow and topics. Very interested in process development.
