Modern Synthetic Organic Reactions
Event overview
We are delighted to be offering this course ONLINE, the 3 day course has now been divided up into five sessions, which will be delivered via a virtual on line platform, timings and dates are as follows and in GMT (Greenwich Mean Time).
Monday, November 29th | 2.00pm – 5.00pm, GMT
Tuesday, November 30th | 2.00pm – 5.00pm, GMT
Wednesday, December 1st | 2.00pm – 5.00pm, GMT
Thursday, December 2nd | 2.00pm – 5.00pm, GMT
Friday, December 3rd | 2.00pm – 5.00pm, GMT
Driven by the increasing complexity of synthetic targets and the need for efficient, selective and environmentally benign synthetic methods, the past decade has seen tremendous innovation and reaction understanding in the field of synthetic organic chemistry. However, much like the transition of a molecule from discovery to development, the transition and application of new synthetic methodology from a research setting to an industrially relevant context can be challenging. This course is designed to look in detail at essential new synthetic chemistry methodology and its potential application in addressing key challenges in industry. New processes will be presented with case studies and examples. In addition, an understanding of what it takes to transfer technology from an academic to a larger scale industrial context will be discussed.
Please do view the brochure for more information (please note this is based on the live 3 day course, but the content is the same)

It was good. Never visited a Scientific Update conference, but will get it on my priority list. Very good – like the set-up, flow and topics. Very interested in process development.
