Radisson Blu | Basel, Switzerland

Event overview

Course tutors: Freija Glansdorp, Jakob Bumke

This course is a lively introduction to how the patent system works and the nature and scope of the rights a patent gives, with an emphasis on chemical inventions.

It covers patentability, patent procedures, infringement, the commercial exploitation of patents, the interpretation of patent literature and the role of the inventor.

There are also chemically oriented workshops aimed at exploring and reinforcing the basic course teachings.

This is what the 2018 Delegates had to say:

“Excellent! Two very knowledgeable experts presenting the lectures.  Course manuals were very helpful with both the slides and written chapters.  The balance with workshop was very good, made it lively and were good exercises to apply the learnt material into practice”  Kraton Chemical B.V Delegate

“Very thorough training by highly knowledgeable tutors! I highly recommend this training!”Minakem Delegate
