Secrets of Batch Process Scale-Up: Ensuring Effective Translation of Laboratory Processes to Pilot Plant Scale

The structure of the course well reflected the real process steps you have to face with scale up. The tutor was excited about his topics and showed great knowledge and experience he was willing to share. He was open to questions and also aware of the challenges of an online training for all participants. A lot of things mentioned in the content refer directly to my current work so I hope I will be able to improve certain aspects when it comes to future experiments.

The course was full of useful information for my work. The examples and case studies shown allowed me to interface with real problems and try to find a solution to them. Despite being a fairly long course that could be heavy, everything was explained in the best possible way. Also, the fact that the course is interactive makes the time go by faster.

As a process chemist who is new to working with scale-up chemistry, the course was very eye-opening on some of the problems faced when attempting to move chemistry from the lab to the plant. When the time comes to move a project onto the plant, I feel like I'll be more confident and more informed on how to make the scale-up as smooth as possible.

This course included all unit operations that we are currently set up in our plant. All unit ops touch in this course and very helpful for us keep that in mind during the scale-up.
