Scientist - (senior) Project Analyst - Johnson & Johnson

Job Description

YOUR responsibilities & YOUR impact:

  • Development of chromatographic methods (UPLC, GC and SFC) using a wide variety of detection techniques (UV/CAD/MS/FID/ECD, etc) for a better understanding of the chemical process.
  • Support chemical R&D in setting up the appropriate in-process analytics.
  • Analyze process development samples from qualitative (e.g. identification of products and impurities by MS) and quantitative aspects.
  • Subject Matter Expert for key chromatographic techniques (equipment and technologies).
  • Responsible for the introduction of new and the maintenance of existing innovative technologies and equipment
  • Analytics of toxicological batches under cGMP/GLP
  • Responsible for standardized workflows (author of work instructions)
  • Participation in global initiatives


Qualifications

  • We are looking for a reliable, independent and flexible personality who enjoys new challenges and is willing to work in a team towards a common goal. You should have the following professional qualities
  • PhD or Master degree in Chemistry
  • Comprehensive knowledge of organic chemistry and in the field of analytics
  • Structured and solution-oriented approach to work
  • Min 5 Years of experience
  • Very good knowledge of German and English (written and spoken)
  • Preferably have application experience in some of the following areas
  • Chromatographic method development
  • Working with common chromatographic software packages, e.g. Empower, Chemstation, Masshunter
  • Organic synthesis or analysis accompanying synthesis
  • Structure elucidation by LC or GC-MS
