Using our extensive experience and up-to-date knowledge of chemistry and processes , we provide advice and guidance on the design of low-cost, efficient, environmentally sensitive and safe synthetic routes for complex molecules, particularly pharmaceuticals and their intermediates.

Targeted and pragmatic suggestions are made based on our experiences to either direct or help guide your efforts to improved processes. We are attuned to the phase of development in order to provide commercially relevant suggestions in support of short, medium or long-term needs.

The team is very familiar with the concepts and application of Dessign of Experiments (DoE) in order to expedite your optimisation activities and enhance overall process understanding.

Through a combination of many years' of process experience and a knowledge of the industry, we undertake evaluations of existing routes and provide cost comparisons with and for potential new routes. In so doing, we can advise if a new route is commercially viable with a well-defined set of assumptions to help guide and prioritise resource allocation.

We will critically review your routes and processes for safety and environmental impact based on our extensive industrial experience and contemporary knowledge of green chemistry. We will bring all our experience to help ensure a pragmatic review is conducted, in line with the development maturity and scale.

Through our experiences, especially in the contract research and manufacturing industries, we have considerable experience of technical transfer both from a client and to a third party.  We have over the years consulted with many clients where the project has involved technical transfer as the scales of operation increased from lab to plant and / or lowest cost manufacturing was required..
